We went on Tuesday and every Tuesday they have Taco Tuesday and Taco are just 99 CENTS! Less than a dollar for a taco! And it is absolutely delicious! We did not expect such amazing aromas! The restaurant was clean, service was fast attentive and friendly and the prices were amazing! Margarita was only $2.50 for the lime. We'll be back every Tuesday! View all feedback.
What Kris H doesn't like about El Patron Mexican:
Accuracy of providing complete and correct order did not occur. Desire to correct mistakes definitely was lacking. Severel minutes on a spiraling discussion with multiple employees requesting an exchange of the incomplete meal, requesting to drive back to return for a replacement of correct and complete Fresh meal, I still received push back. Disconnected call and counting as a waste or loss. No longer as good as it... View all feedback.
There are new dishes added. Excellent service. Very attentive and very good waiters.
Great cheese quesadilla, fruity mix drinks, they have diet Dr Pepper and diet dew nice to make authentic, service cares how you are doing

Worst Mexican food I've ever had. Granted, I'm Mexican. I grew up in San Diego, very close to the Mexican border, and dined in Mexico often. I also lived in New Mexico for awhile (their style is very different from California). And now I live in LA (I'm not fond of the Mexican food here that much either as it varies greatly from San Diego). Point being, I know my expectations of Mexican food are pretty high. Honestly, I didn't even want to eat Mexican food in Indiana, because I figured I would be disappointed. But, while here for 5 days on business, my coworkers insisted. I should have put my food down. I ordered the tamale, because it's pretty basic how do you screw up a tamale!? But it was completely bland and flavorless. The beans and rice tasted more like water than anything else. I would not recommend this place if you have any idea what real Mexican food should actually taste like, because this isn't it!
It is fast and friendly, the food is piping hot and prompt (and good, or at least the fish and vegetables is), and the prices are pretty much what one expects from such a place. It is not a wasted visit. It's also clean.
