El Charro Mexican - Evansville

Not too fancy but Excellent food and a lot of it. Got steak fajitas and was a lot of sizzling meat peppers and onions. Plenty of garnish. Food tasted great and will get 3 meals from 1 order. My new Mexican restaurant. Eric from Lombard IL

Our Son absolutely loves El Charro! We routinely see him eating Burrito Jaliscos from carryout. He eats there so often we got him a gift card for all he does for us! Although my wife and I don 't eat mexican food, I felt compelled to give them a review because our Son says they are the best!!

This is probably the best place for lunch on the west side. You will receive free chips and salsa, and a drink with the $8 lunch specials included. There is a nice list of options for lunch so you can have a delicious meal for $8 plus tip. The restaurant was clean, the food was good, and the service was also good. El Charro deserved 5 stars.

Yum! Friendly, helpful service catered to my request for a 'skinny ' option for the margarita. Challenged us to try something new for dessert, and we were NOT disappointed. Highly recommend.

Very good food and a lot of seating for bigger groups etc. Even though it was lunch time and they were slammed, food came out fresh and fast. Will definitely try this place again if I am in the area. This place was a cut above your average hike in the wall Mexican restaurant.
