We looked this place up and we're super excited because we just moved to North Park which is 15 minutes from chipotle. Unfortunately, my husband and I can't even finish our meals due to the thickness and abundance of greese. Doesn't help the chicken was super bland to begin with either. View all feedback.
I've always had a great experience at Chavas! They are consistently excellent.
The food is of good quality and the staff is friendly. However, to achieve an authentic experience, the meat should be grilled outdoors over an open fire, particularly the fajitas, which should feature skirt steak. This is essential for that true Texican flavor from the border.
Love this place! Much better than Chipotle, Qdoba, etc. Much better ingredients and taste! If you like spicy food, I suggest asking for their hottest salsa in your food. The super burrito is the same size and weight of a newborn baby. I go here all the time and I don't even live on that side of town. Would recommend!
First time at Chavas on First Ave. I got a super pastor burrito which will make 2 lunches for me. It was delicious...fresh ingredients. Nice people.
I 'm from the south west, and Chavas is the best taste of home. It 's not tex mex it 's the real deal, always awesome. Everything is always fresh and wonderful. The staff is very kind.
