The wine was served at the ideal temperature, but the standout aspect of my visit was the outstanding and friendly service! I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. Service was a little slow and some of our group had to wait extra long for their food.

Terrific local joint for Wilmette, North Evanston, and environs. Small, cozy, but well thought out space with a full bar, flat screens there, and a nice dining room. Noisy, bright space lends itself to conversation and group fun with a few romantic tables for couples. Menu is quite nice with a California Midwest kind of fusion vibe. Basic bar food, great (Candlelite Chicago look it up) pizza, bowls, salads, wraps, and sandwiches are uniformly impressive. Nice patio seating in good weather, too. Will be a frequent stop for us and our pals. RECOMMENDED

Great food! Very tasty grown up grilled cheese sandwich and salads along with fried green beans appetizer. Fast friendly service too!

Bluestone is clearly more of a sports bar, so I’m assuming the burgers and fries are excellent. I tried the blackened tilapia fish tacos—they were tasty but basically just blackened fish served on a bed of lettuce. The presentation could have been improved. The service was excellent, and the place has a nice, cozy vibe. However, the chairs at my table were really hard and uncomfortable. I’d consider returning to try a burger and sit in a booth instead.

As always the food, drink, staff, and service was AWESOME! We were seated immediately, and our servers were wonderfully friendly and attentive. Eat. Drink. Enjoy. Repeat.
Friendly service and tasty food. There's seating inside or outside (on the sidewalk). Gluten free options are clearly marked. My husband and I split a pizza on GF crust (cauliflower crust), southwest salad and an order of baked wings and had leftovers for another meal.
My favorite place. Been coming here for over 20 years. Always Awesome here. Smoked wings pizza is top notch! Just one thing that we were sad about....no chicken pot pie. That's one of our favorites. I'm sure it'll be back.
I ordered the bbq combo, which includes these excluding the fries, is a good deal at the price. The problem was when you go to eat. The wings, as you can see, were dry as hell. The pulled pork had a gamey taste. The baked beans tasted like straight out of a can. The baked macaroni and cheese was okay, the topping made it dry and it had no flavor. The cornbread was dry and no corn flavor. The only good thing was the coleslaw. I just wish it could have tasted better for the price.
This is a great place for a special meal out. We came here with friends we had not seen in a few years. We all wanted a slow, special night out. Found delivered! Very attentive and knowledgeable staff, a wonderful bar menu and outstanding food. We will be back.

The service was welcoming and the food delicious. You can choose to sit indoors or outside on the sidewalk. Gluten-free options are clearly indicated. My husband and I shared a pizza with a cauliflower gluten-free crust, a southwest salad, and an order of baked wings, and we still had leftovers for another meal.
We visited Bluestone on Friday and had an amazing experience with our server, Cameron. After a disappointing visit to the restaurant next door, he truly made our evening special. The quesadilla and Philly steak were both delicious. We can’t wait to return!
Fantastic service, delicious food, wonderful staff, and a great atmosphere! It's always an enjoyable experience! I tried a new dessert drink, an espresso martini, and it was delicious!
The atmosphere was lovely and very family-friendly, but unfortunately, that was the only positive aspect of our visit. The staff seemed uninformed about gluten-free options. When we asked the waitresses to check with the kitchen about which dishes could be made gluten-free, they responded in a combative manner. One waitress even argued that they refer to their food as "gluten-friendly," not gluten-free. The unpleasant attitude and poor service led our group to cancel our order, which was over $75, and leave the restaurant.
Bluestone has really improved under the new ownership! I’ve noticed a friendlier atmosphere, more consistent and delicious food, and an overall better experience. Although it’s not the most convenient location for me, the quality keeps me wanting to return time and time again. Awesome job, Bluestone team!

This is an excellent spot for a special meal. We visited with friends we hadn't seen in a few years, and we were all looking forward to a relaxed, memorable evening. We found exactly that! The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable, the bar menu was fantastic, and the food was outstanding. We will definitely be returning.

I absolutely love the food here! The atmosphere is reminiscent of a bar or pub, and the cuisine is outstanding. The prices are fantastic for the generous portions of food and drinks you receive. Plus, the customer service is excellent!
If you enjoy thin-crust pizza, this place is for you! Just a word of caution: the extra crispy option can burn quickly since the crust is so thin. Also, don’t count on finishing a pizza by yourself!
