Small, cozy, but well thought out space with a full bar, flat screens there, and a nice dining room. Noisy, bright space lends itself to conversation and group fun with a few romantic tables for couples. Menu is quite nice with a California Midwest kind of fusion vibe. Basic bar food, great (Candlelite Chicago look it up) pizza, bowls, salads, wraps, and sandwiches are uniformly impressive. Nice patio seating in good weather, too. Will be a frequent stop for us and our pals. RECOMMENDED

The staff seemed uninformed about gluten-... read more The atmosphere was lovely and very family-friendly, but unfortunately, that was the only positive aspect of our visit. The staff seemed uninformed about gluten-free options. When we asked the waitresses to check with the kitchen about which dishes could be made gluten-free, they responded in a combative manner. One waitress even argued that they refer to their food as "gluten-friendly," not gluten-free. The unpleasant attitude and poor service led our group to cancel our order, which was over $75, and leave the restaurant.
