Great local place, bar feel with upscale food..seating I is tight and unless everyone is there they will not seat you, even when they are not crowded ? but the food is very upscale. The Best Oreo cream cheese cake....great corned beef and pastrami. Really nice thoughtful food, this is why you go out to eat. Free coffee, huge beer selection and the game is on tv. A larger bar pool room next door but with a different menu for some weird reason? They never run out of toilet paper. Go, eat enjoy.
This restaurant is fantastic! I am in town for a few weeks and was hoping to find a unique dining experience that I can't find back home in Alberta, Canada. I stopped by tonight to catch some March Madness, but the bar area was closed for a private event so I decided to dine in the restaurant side. The service was excellent, the staff was very friendly, and the burger I ordered was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be returning before I leave town.
It has not been voted Best Burger, Best Restaurant, Best everything! for no reason! Their food is fresh, home cooked, perfectly seasoned-just phenomenal! Very cool atmosphere, staff is super friendly and attentive. Best place I have been to on my visit here in Evanston!

Our waiter was wonderful! Kind and great service. The food was amazing as always. Great place to grab a quick lunch or dinner.
