Anthony's Pizza - Eustis

Once again, gave Marco's in Mt. Dora/Eustis another chance. We had a credit due to our pizza being delivered late and incorrect. We ordered the exact same order by phone and was quoted 45 minutes for delivery. This was Monday evening. After an hour, we called and were told our pizzas were in the window, but their driver took other orders with no clue when she'd be back. I asked for a manager, wasn't one on so I got the swift lead. He didn't even say sorry, asked what I wanted. I explained we wanted our dinner and not the pizzas in the warmer and a credit back to our account and a refund. He said he could remake the pizzas and try to get them to us within a half hour, but couldn't give a refund or credit. However he said, he'd send a brownie dessert for no charge. I basically said whatever, please send our food asap and have the manager call me tomorrow. We finally got out food 30+ minutes later and still haven't heard from the manager. BTW, the pizzas were wrong again. This isn't the first time we've had issue, but we give them the benefit of the doubt. This store does not live up to the Marco's name.

While the pizza is good the service is not. I ordered a pizza for pick up at 4pm for pick up at 530. I arrived at 515 and it was not even put into the oven until 527pm. I got the feeling if I was not early it would put in the oven even later.

Food is good most of the time but beware of the delivery times. Only once in the past 2 years has it been less than 1 hour wait even though online says 30 minutes. I even wait 1.5 hours before. Today I called because again we just hit the 1 hour mark and no pizza and it hasn't even left the store yet. Employees are nice but something has to change for delivery. I once even went to the store after placing an order for delivery because the pizza looked like it had fallen on the floor, not edible just totally messed up. Didn't even get a sorry or a refund for the $5.50 delivery fee I had already paid. I want to support them but it's hard when we have young kids and the pizza takes so long and not always consistent. We ordered last week and the waited 1 hour 20 minutes and the pizza was cold by the time it arrived. Not sure what the solution is but I hope it's figured out soon.

The last few times we got delivery, the pizza has been poor quality, and we just ordered and received a wrong pizza 10 minutes late. So I wouldn’t recommend getting delivery at least.

Our first time here, overall we liked it but definitely could use improvements.For the next time I’ll ask for more pineapple as it was a bit skimpy, hubby loved his deluxe pizza but was disappointed in the canned mushrooms! Usually we get dominoes and they have fresh.. they forgot our Roma crust so it was really plainWe do NOT recommend the wings as they were squishy and super tiny.Cinnamon bread is really tasty but a little greasy..Cheesy bread was a bit bland but not bad
