The food is fresh and absolutely delicious! I really love this place. They have a special on Fridays for catfish, and it's cooked to perfection! The staff is very friendly, too. You definitely need to give Sue's Roost a try!

What they serve is typical Southern home cooking type fare and their lunch time burgers are great. Also, if you love pie you will definitely enjoy this place. Overall Sue's is a real gem for such a small town and shouldn't be missed if you happen to be passing through. Just wish they were open for dinner as well, but as of this writing they only serve breakfast and lunch.

My wife enjoyed a patty melt that... read more This is hands down the best chicken fried steak I’ve ever had. The homemade cream gravy and mashed potatoes were exceptional. My wife enjoyed a patty melt that was absolutely divine, and the sweet potatoes were fantastic. The homemade pie was to die for! I only wish it wasn’t an hour’s drive away because I would love to eat here every week. If only you could open a location in the Tyler/Lindale area! I can't wait to return.
