We ate there today – with a prior reservation and noti... read more Unfortunately, we can 't give more than one star. And that 's only for the relatively nice service staff. We ate there today – with a prior reservation and notification of our wheelchair needs. Upon entering, we were met with a very stressed and disorganized atmosphere. They didn 't pay any attention to us, so we asked if we could just sit down anywhere. They refused and referred us to the manager. This man is an absolute disaster. The epitome of rudeness. He claimed they had no more space. I replied that we had a reservation and would like a table where we could also sit with my mother (in her wheelchair). He shrugged and said, in all seriousness, Where am I supposed to put HER now?! He turned around, angrily pulled a table forward, and pointed to it. Again, he uttered the outrageous words: Can HER sit here or sit on a chair? I turned to my family and said we should probably leave. Unfortunately, it 's so difficult to find a restaurant in Euskirchen and the surrounding area that 's easily accessible for a wheelchair and offers decent parking, so we reluctantly decided to stay. Searching for and switching to another restaurant would have been too stressful for my parents. Well, the service staff were generally helpful and friendly. We ordered around 5:00 PM and received our food around 5:50 PM, knowing (as mentioned when we made the reservation by phone) that we had to leave around 6:45 PM. This meant there was absolutely no time to order dessert. The dishes themselves were okay; I 'd describe them as average. However, the prices were a bit too high for the individual dishes. There weren 't even small salad garnishes on the steak or schnitzel plates. The food looked bland and unappealing. For example, I had a pepper schnitzel for €18.90. On the plate was a handful of fries, an unbreaded schnitzel (some like it that way, others don 't) in a brown, unidentifiable sauce (in any case, this sauce didn 't have even a hint of peppercorn in it), and a grand total of five peppercorns. None of our five dishes (two different steak dishes, a salmon platter, a kind of mixed grill – I just can 't remember the name right now – and my schnitzel) were presented in any way appealingly. After the meal, we weren 't even asked if we wanted dessert or an aperitif. We were literally rushed off. The total bill was €132. I overheard the owner clearing plates at the next table. One guest said, Please don 't take this plate yet, I don 't know if it will be eaten. To which the owner replied, quite seriously, that it didn 't matter. It was almost 7 p.m. and they had to leave anyway because there was already a new reservation. That 's just how it is during the Christmas rush. I 'm speechless about this person. Christmas stress or not, that 's definitely no way to treat your guests. For our part, it was our first and definitely our last time there. With that in mind, we wish you a merry and peaceful Christmas.

He was already rude when I simply asked for water glasses, and when we ordered food, he completely lost it after my sister just suggested he could be a little friendlier! He then even asked her to leave the restaurant! Even ordering a bottle of water gets you snapped at! Drinks aren't brought! The food is also a disaster. The liver is raw, the sauces are pre-made, and the schnitzel is frozen. It's a truly catastrophic experience. It's absolutely outrageous! How can anyone treat guests like that? I can't understand the good reviews! An owner like that should close his restaurant!
