If you are looking for a completely cool place to hang and have some amazing dishes or delicious brew coffees, the Grind Café fits the bill. Amazing homemade cuisine by Johnika, which has to hide a culinary conclusion somewhere. Prices are super-cheap and customer service is the best flight. Free wifi and good music inside. We were so excited to try this local place based on the reviews, but were extremely underwhelmed and disappointed. Service is friendly, but atmosphere was cold and lacking, limited selection of coffee options that are average at best, and TERRIBLE quiche. We got a $5.50 slice of the tomato broccoli quiche to go. What a wonderful surprise to find on the coast during our unplanned night! Amazing staff in a very comfortable, friendly environment!! If the cleanliness and friendliness was not enough, the coffee was perfect and the food, oh my goodness, HEAVENLY!! We recommend you to try the quiche!!! We will be back through the city next time!!!
The perfect Humboldt cafe ! The inside of the cafe is really nice and clean. I have been there a few times now but everytime I go the service is great and the food is delicious! The BLT Panini is a must try !
Yo the food is good ,the burritos are VERY GOOD!(JSYK even tho they're already premade so you don't get yelled at) AND THE BURRITOS ARE VEGETARIAN !! I've edited my last post. She deserves the business even tho they close for little uncessary holidays. Order this drink called iced white mocha!!You'll be in an awesome mood all day.
Excellent little cafe. Their espressos and dirty chai are just about perfect, and the atmosphere is really nice. It’s a small space, but with plenty of food options if you’re ever stuck on Jury Duty need something in walking distance for lunch : Also the staff are super friendly :
Lavender latte: Excellent flavor. Americano: Tasted a tiny bit overdone but still good. Cinnamon roll muffin: Nice sort of bouncy texture, very cinnamon-y flavor. Sweet, slightly salty nuts and cinnamon filling in the center. Service: Super friendly and helpful.
