Southside Mike's -b-que - Eureka

What in the Heavens! This place had been hiding in plain sight. I've gone to the Myrtletown Liquor store (more often than I should say) and never batted an eye lash at this place.Well... what a gem. The gentleman working it is great. The food is spectacular. Don't blink twice at the price: WORTH IT. Yum yum yum. Pulled pork sandwiches- to die for....or live for (so you can eat more). Hubby says their Mac n Cheese is a must buy. Love the fries too!

Outstanding! Ordered tri tip and while we were waiting we were treated to sample of rib tips.....smoky deliciousness....oh my. Fries were a great side and the fry sauce was delicious..mustard based and peppery. What a treat! I highly recommend a visit!

My favorite Bbq connection in all Humboldt! Don't sleep on Southside Mike's y'all that's the real deal bbq, a real jem for our community. I love his ribs so much, so much that I didn't really have too much branched out of his menu because it's what I bless every time I see him. So delicate and succulent, his sauce is so unique - I never had anything else like it. My partner got the Tri-Tip sandwich I love the caramelized onions on the top, they are not soft and muddy like other places. I like his onions still have a life in them. Recently I decided to branch a little and try the pulled pork sandwich, and yup you guess it -BOMB! All right. The frits come with this delicious black pepper and garlic aioli, simply delicious. Give him a try and you won't regret it. Quality every time!
