Usually good success with company. Today however the California Classic Double Cheeseburger Combo was not good. The burger tasted old, cheese dries around edges, meat tastes funky. The small fries and 100% Arabica Coffee was great. No napkins or the mayo and ketchup I asked for. But did include utensils and creamer. All and all, average. View all feedback.
The prices keep rising, but the quality of the food keeps declining. It's disappointing. This used to be my favorite fast food restaurant.
I usually have a positive experience with this restaurant, but today the California Classic Double Cheeseburger Combo missed the mark. The burger tasted like it was old, the cheese was dried out around the edges, and the meat had an off flavor. On the bright side, the small fries and 100% Arabica coffee were excellent. Unfortunately, they forgot to include napkins or the mayo and ketchup I requested, though they did provide utensils and creamer. Overall, it was just an average experience.
The Gold Digger sandwich was overcooked and appeared to be stale. The Famous Star burger was unappetizing and seemed old as well. The only items that were decent were the spicy chicken, fries, and onion rings.
The fries were limp not crisp, greasy. Ordered a second patty on an original Angus burger. I was charged the $3.09 for it but the patty was nowhere to be seen. Sourdough burger, did not taste like sourdough and was not toasted. Carl's is failing, Used to be very good. In-and-Out must be having an effect.
It's no surprise that this place is always empty. For $16, I received just one small chicken strip on my hand-breaded chicken sandwich, and the entire thing was drowning in mayonnaise.
