Firehouse Subs is my favorite place that I definitely recommend the Hook Ladder for those looking for a classic sandwich with great taste. Super fast service and friendly staff!
I discovered Firehouse while living in Austin, and I quickly became addicted to their subs. Since then, I wanted to ensure I had the same experience here in the DFW area, and it did not disappoint at all!
The food was delicious as always, but I was let down by the everything bagel bun. I wasn't interested in the accompanying sandwich; I simply wanted the bagel for my own creation. To my surprise, I had to pay extra just to use the everything bagel bun. The photo I had seen showed it generously covered in seasoning, but when my sandwich arrived, it fell short. It only had a few black poppy seeds and sesame seeds scattered on it, and they barely covered the surface. It didn't taste like an everything bagel at all. I've attached a picture for reference.
Firehouse Subs is my favorite place for takeout. I strongly recommend the Hook and Ladder sandwich for anyone looking for a delicious classic. The service is exceptionally quick, and the staff is very welcoming!
