The Daily Bagel - Eugene

I’ve been loving coming to this place for years. The last several times I’ve been there, the quality of their bagel sandwiches have gone downhill. Yesterday I got cranberry and turkey. Almost no cranberry sauce, was only on one side of sandwich, even less creme cheese and lettuce was mostly slimy. Similar issues with other sandwiches many times. Very sad. The bagels are great. But I’ll forgo the (used to be fantastic sandwiches) in the future.

I used to love the daily bagel, they were the best in town. Over the last nine months I’ve stopped in handfuls of times and I would say 8/10 times my order has been incorrect. I’m not sure how much more clear I can be to get the correct order. The employees also always seem so annoyed when you ask them to repeat the order they just shouted out. Maybe think about taking names at the counter so there’s less confusion and annoyed employees.

Ordered pickup and got two breakfast sandwiches customized with our choice bagel, cheese, egg, meat. We opted for cheddar a cheddar jalapeño bagel with cheddar cheese, egg, sausage Patties. Yum. The bagel is thick and chewy but not hard.. if that makes sense. We also ordered an iced mocha. We enjoyed our breakfast and coffee.

Second time hoping it’s good but it’s like they have the nastiest attitude always. I get work is hard sometimes I work two jobs . But never to that nasty point.

Stopped in ordered a breakfast sandwich, waited what felt like 20 minutes and left without my food. They were not slammed with customers and overall the place was pretty empty. Not to mention the other people who were waiting before I had even arrived still hadn't received their orders. Poorly run business, and flat out not professional. Save your time and make it yourself. This whole being asked to tip before a service is rendered movement is absolutely bonkers to me, this place takes the cake. Here's a tip: Do better or don't do it at all.
