Incredible! Everything was fantastic!!! This is hands down the best sandwich shop in Eugene. Our server and bartender were very friendly, and our food arrived quickly. If you're coming with a group larger than four, I recommend calling ahead since the dining area isn't very large. The atmosphere is seriously cozy and the food is absolutely delicious. What Matthew Agerter dislikes about Scribles Bistro Deli:
Upon entering, the waitress pointed to a stack of menus and told us to sit anywhere (there was only one other table with customers). She asked us if we wanted a soda or anything, and when we replied yes, she pointed to a cooler in the wall and told us to help ourselves. Our sandwiches took almost 20 minutes to be made, presumably because the cook was too busy bad-mouthing all the other restaurants he's worked at and... View all feedback.

Edit: I've been here a few times now, and today I tried the meatball sub and the caprese appetizer (definitely splurge on the crostini). I also took a picture of their adorable fountain! I really love the outdoor seating area.
The best meatball sandwiches in the city! Overall, they serve the best sandwiches around. Their recipes are straightforward, yet they use high-quality ingredients. I usually opt for a sandwich, but the last time I visited, I tried the Southwest Chicken Salad and it was fantastic. I also love the cool decor—it creates a great atmosphere for relaxing. I've never had a disappointing experience here.
The only good sandwich spot in Eugene. Great people. There is a sweet heating in the bathroom that is worth a look. The only reason I didn't give six stars is that they refuse to become a Philadelphia Eagles Bar.
Awesome neighborhood bar. friendly atmosphere and great place to watch a game. I had the meatball sub and it was really really good. highly recommend this place

Incredible! Everything was delicious! This is definitely the best sandwich shop in Eugene, no contest. Our server and bartender were extremely friendly, and our food was served quickly. If you're visiting with a group larger than four, I recommend calling ahead since the dining area isn’t very spacious. Overall, the ambiance is wonderfully cozy and the food is absolutely delightful!
What a fantastic restaurant! The food is amazing, and the atmosphere is great. Shane and Brando are laid-back and always have a positive vibe. The back patio is beautiful, making it a perfect spot. They really made my birthday special!
Update: I've been here a few times now, trying to sample all the delicious items on the menu. Today, I had the meatball sub and the caprese appetizer (be sure to indulge and get the crostini). I also took a picture of their adorable fountain! I absolutely love the outdoor seating area.
First and foremost, people there were awesome. But the sandwiches were AMAZING. So delicious!!

She asked us if we wanted a soda or anything, and when we replied yes, she pointed to a cooler in the wall and told us to help ourselves. Our sandwiches took almost 20 minutes to be made, presumably because the cook was too busy bad-mouthing all the other restaurants he's worked at and would not stop rambling about his salmon picatta recipe like we all cared. My sandwich was placed directly on a massive pickle spear which made it soggy, and it was so overstuffed there was no way to pick it up. No utensils were offered. The whole experience was unsettling. OMG!!! We had a blast! Our sandwiches were phenomenal. The cook, Morgan, was quick, diligent, and exceedingly handsome. I don’t think he slowed down for a minute the whole time we were there, slicing meats and building sandwiches with consummate skill. Our server, Kenzie, was an absolute delight. She answered all our questions and was exceptionally attentive. Her abilities behind the bar were matched only by the brilliance of her sparkling blue eyes. We just moved to the neighborhood and have already been in twice and look forward to many more amazing meals in the future. It was Chef's Kiss! My son had the meatball sub and it was amazing and beautiful! I had the chef salad, yummy! The waitress took good care of us and my son has special needs, and I'm a stroke patient, and she was helpful and patient. My son is obsessed with Seattle sports teams, and he loved the merch/art and the Vibes. Thank you so much and we love to support our local business Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
