Poppi's Anatolia - Eugene

We were just here on Saturday night and felt way too cramped during our dinner. There were groups of people standing around right by our table waiting to be seated. There is no waiting area. To top it off our food was very soggy. We have had good experiences here in the past, but it will be awhile before we go here again.

Fine dining for a special occasion. I loved the fried olives they brought out before our meal. I ordered a Greek salad and the Spanakopita for an entrée. The food was exceptional and traditional. The entrée was served with potatoes in a red sauce. I would recommend something else as a side because the sauce runs into the crispy dough of the spanakopita and made it a little soggy. The dining area would be more comfortable with a few less tables. It feels pretty cramped in there when busy. Nice wine selection. Knowledgeable servers.
