Highlands Brew Pub - Eugene

The bartender was absolutely fantastic and had just the right amount of self-deprecating humor! I stopped by for some late-night food and was pleasantly surprised by the charming and charismatic bartender, who even entertained us with a slight-of-hand magic trick for fun. I would gladly go out of my way to return just for the warm and welcoming atmosphere. However, the food was somewhat disappointing, lacking in quality and variety, and came across as whatever was convenient.

Unfortunately, this bar is not a good choice. The bartender was unkind and seemed to take satisfaction in yelling at my spouse.

I had lunch at this place, and it was a calm experience with just a few locals around. It made for a nice, relaxing meal. The food was good, and the crispy French fries were particularly excellent. I found the clam chowder could have been a bit thicker for my liking, but it was still flavorful. They also offered a solid selection of beers. The menu featured a lovely variety of dishes and drink specials. Plus, they had small TVs at every table, which added to the atmosphere.

Friendly attentive staff, excellent **** Mary-Nice-Kick! Very good food! Cobb salad with fresh salad, spinach and tomatoes, many BBQ chicken, bacon and other delicious stuff. Nachos was great!

Very nice local pub with good food and friendly atmosphere--I like the outdoor seating best even in the rain (covered walk-way)
