Dickiejo's Burgers - Eugene

We usually visit this place for frozen yogurt, where they let you choose your own toppings. The yogurt itself is average, with flavors that can be quite tart at times. The yogurt dispenser can be slow or not very user-friendly. We've eaten at Burgerplatz before, but it hasn’t become our favorite.

Delicious! The food here is tasty and fresh, but for thirty two dollars I shouldn’t have to get my own drink and bus my own table. It’s a cool experience but in my opinion, the equivalent of 4 potatoes worth of fries should not cost the same as a 5lb bag of potatoes and the oil to fry it in…

Stopped in for a quick lunch after an appointment in town. There were two signs stating they were short staffed, so there may be a longer wait time. It was about 11 on a Wednesday, so not busy at all. I was a little sad that the attached yogurt shop wasn't open for business, but was able to finish my burger with a peanut butter banana shake. Staff was on top of everything. Eye contact, and a gentleman came after me and the cook let him know someone would be with him soon. Sounds like not a big deal, but that is becoming more rare, especially in fast food. I'd 100 come here again if I'm in town.

A good burger. No frills just well made and not fast food. Their fries are shoestring, not my favorite, but come with truffle oil or chili or garlic. It's right next to a froyo place too. They have a sweet large party space.

The burgers are quite good. We had the New Mexican burger with a veggie patty and the Rise and Swine dead cow version . Both were really good burgers. The free toppings, normally secondary in importance, took the spotlight. The onions and other toppings were cooked well, kind of like the animal style burgers at In and Out but slightly better, actually . The only thing that was disappointing was the fries. They were left to sit on the counter while the rest of our meal was finished and grew cold. Better servers could do this.
