Patrons rave about the quality of the breads, hearty sandwiches like the Half Reuben, and comforting soups that evoke a sense of nostalgia. The bakery counter tempts with a delightful array of sweets, including rugelach and Hamentaschen, making it a haven for dessert lovers. Customers appreciate the consistently friendly service and the welcoming atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for a casual meal or a cozy catch-up with friends. Barry's is truly a culinary gem worth visiting time and again.
I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious this hidden gem is. As someone from the East Coast, finding a reliable Jewish deli for matzo ball soup and oversized sandwiches at affordable prices was like a dream come true. I highly recommend getting the full sandwich, as it's only $1.50 more for double the deliciousness. The bread is incredibly soft and fresh, and their custom coffee is excellent. I ended up going back twice in the same week after my first visit.
I was in South Eugene and decided to stop by Barry's. I absolutely love this place. They have a wide selection of delicious bakery items, soups, and sandwiches. The food is excellent and I highly recommend it.
This restaurant is everything a New York City-style deli should be, in my opinion. It has no frills or trendy dishes, just classic and amazing food. I highly recommend the Barry's special breakfast sandwich and the lox on bialy, both of which were incredible. The restaurant has been around for 25 years and I hope it remains the same way forever.
First time getting a grilled sandwich here and it?s clearly microwaved. That?s not what a restaurant should be doing especially when they have such quality bread. Three stars because they usually are a four star place.
I used to live in Eugene and this was my favorite restaurant. Even though I moved away a year ago, I still think about it often enough to write a review. I highly recommend trying the Barry's Special - it's worth it. I sometimes even think about making a 5-hour drive just to have the Barry's Special and a chai.
