The restaurant offers excellent food and fantastic service. It is the top upscale dining option in the city center, with offerings that go beyond typical pub fare. Be sure to save room for dessert! View all feedback.
What Winter B doesn't like about Ambrosia:
The inside of this restaurant is huge. Bar area is really cute. Our server was very friendly. The menu has a great variety of pizza, pasta, appetizers, calzones, and more. Food does take a minute to come so maybe get some appetizers! The meal was filling but not the best Italian I have tried. View all feedback.
Outstanding service, food was excellent, no lamb unfortunately , still had great choices, calzone, ribs prepared tp perfection
Still one of my top restaurants in Eugene/Springfield. Food is very good though not especially off the charts creatvely but what they do they do well. Great ambiance and fair pricing My partner and I hit Ambrosia at leat 4 times a year.
Nice family/group dining spot located in a restored older building with lots of character. Two stories, with upper and lower dining room. Cozy atmosphere, good service and good food. The only downside was that my sister-in-law's food was mistimed and came out as the rest of us were already finishing our food. She ordered the cannelloni, for reference. If you're in a hurry, maybe it's best to order a different dish!
There is definitely better Italian in Eugene. Attention to customer service could also be improved.
Ambrosia has been one of our favorite restaurants in Eugene. They were closed for awhile and I'm not sure if they changed ownership during the transition, but we celebrated Mother's Day here tonight after 2-3 years of not having been there. It did NOT disappoint and was as good as we remembered: Al dente pasta, delicious lasagna, and a tasty Caesar salad. Our waitress was sweet and attentive, the portions were generous, and our daughter loved her spaghetti from the kids menu. The ambiance and decor make you feel like you are in the 1920's with stained glass windows, Victorian wood carved benches, art deco Obelisk paintings, Tiffany lamps... There are also several lofts and living room dining areas that allow for a personalized and private seating experience. The bar is classy and its elegance adds to the overall entrance as you walk in. Love this place and so glad they've reopened.
