Great food fast service. Our Forager’s pie and Vegetables Verde were delicious. We were not fans of the Mac cheese. The sauce is more of a sweet blended butternut squash, not our thing View all feedback.
What PaulAtreides doesn't like about Acorn Community Cafe:
We had brunch at this restaurant and decided to try the biscuits and gravy, which caught our attention on the menu. We really appreciated the community atmosphere and the pay-it-forward, no-tipping philosophy. While the biscuits and gravy were decent, they didn't leave a lasting impression. Additionally, the service was quite slow. View all feedback.
I visited for the first time yesterday, and everything is vegan! The autumn pasta special, which is a squash gratin, was absolutely delicious. I also tried the potato biscuit soup, and I was really impressed. My partner, who usually doesn't enjoy autumn flavors, loved it! I can't wait to go back!
The mission of this restaurant inspires hope in the future and our community. Everyone here is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The café itself has a charming atmosphere, and the seating area is lovely. We've tried everything on the completely vegan menu and loved each item. We enjoy coming here for every meal, and we appreciate that we can bring our dog along!
The menu may be small, but it's filled with creativity. They use seasonal vegetables and fresh ingredients, which really enhance the flavors. The outdoor terrace seating is beautiful, making for a lovely dining atmosphere.
All vegan non profit truly giving back to the community. Amazing coffee and food. The food is of top tier chef quality and fully vegan. Don’t sleep on this spot.
Acorn Community Cafe was fantastic. We went for a late lunch while in town, and it’s everything a vegan restaurant should be and more. They have an entirely vegan menu with a selection of coffees and desserts. I had a coffee, fresh chocolate chip cookie, and biscuits and mushroom gravy. While the entree was a bit too mushroomy for me, that’s more so a result of personal taste than quality of food. There were other great looking options like pancakes and a breakfast hash which I would be excited to try if I’m ever in town again! I also loved the aesthetic of the place and the great outdoor seating surrounded by plants and nice lighting. Super cozy! Not to mention, they have cool community initiatives like free menstrual products and diaper products. This place is fantastic in so many ways and worthy of the praise it receives!
