This restaurant is a hidden gem, although it may not be so hidden on 6th Street. It was a total surprise! The owner, Linda, knows how to create a welcoming and comfortable dining atmosphere. We tried the tender and tasty steak with mashed potatoes, as well as the pasta with avocado sauce. Both dishes were creamy and comforting. We highly recommend giving this place a try – you'll definitely want to add this restauran... View all feedback.
What Eulalia Padberg doesn't like about 6th Street Restaurant Sports Bar:
Owners are, let's just say... not nice. Don't get me wrong, the food is ok, actually quite good, if you can get it within 30 minutes of seating, lol (their wait time is not worth it). Also, by the time you get food for a party of 4, ... 2 orders may come out first, 3rd out 5 mins later, waiting on fries, by the time the 4th gets their meal, it's probably wrong, and the rest of the group is done eating... Very pleasant experience as family. a lot of dressed like burger, parmesan huhn, salate, seafood, coffee, beer, whip all were received well. the music is not too loud and the atmosphere is a good balance of sports and family restaurant. the personal is very courteous, let us dine in 10 minutes before the closure
Best restaurant! Best! Their Beer dinners are second to none. I absolutely love this place! The new Whiskey bar is fantastic!
Went to 6th Street for late breakfast/brunch for my birthday. It was my first time there, but my ex and my daughter have been there a few times. I had the Avocado Toast, which is a variation on Eggs Benedict, similar to eggs Florentine. What it is is basically 2 pieces of artisan bread toast slathered with fresh avocado spread, topped with two fried eggs. Here's the full description from their menu: Rustic fire grilled bread topped with arugula dressed in a lemon nage, pickled red onions, radish, cotilla, and a fried egg Great friendly service, casual atmosphere, not too over done with sports memorabilia. Might consider it a little pricey, I think I paid $12.00 for my avocado toast, but I haven't really been out to eat in a while so not sure what the current average price is for a nice, sit down meal. But you can always be sure the food is of top quality. They have table as well as bar seating. All-in-all, I would recommend 6th Street Grill to anyone who enjoys a fun night out with great food and spirits, you supply the friends.
Not very impressed. Woefully understaffed. Two servers (one was also bartender) for the whole place-indoor and patio. And the other server appeared to be in training. I want all Eugene eateries to succeed. And understand the difficulties they are facing getting help. But we saw 3 groups come in, wait and wait to be seated, then leave. Will they ever try again? I hope they are able to get it figured out.

(sigh) They have a bad local, lack of focus, plus the employees are not visibly happy. So, if you want to support people who treat others with disrespect (as you have read in previous reviews), but want a decent burger, then eat here. Otherwise, I would suggest you find just a good burger elsewhere and feel good as a human being.
