What Tim F doesn't like about Papa Joe's Subs & Pasta:
It was a great place back at its prime, over the years steady decline and space deterioration. I decided to try Mr. Hero"s in the area and what a difference versus Papa's... never disappointed with Mr. Hero, the staff was friendly, the store had clean delicious food...hot and fresh...Mr. Hero fan for life... This is where my daughter wanted to get her birthday dinner. We were very happy with our food and service. ordered over the phone and everything was fresh and delicious when we picked it up. The prices are so reasonable and the food is so good. We'll go on there. View all feedback.

read moreMr. Hero's has become a beloved favorite for many, with clean and delicious food and friendly staff. On the other hand, Papa Joe's received mixed reviews, with some praising the Italian sub and others finding the food bland. Unfortunately, the E. 200th Street location has closed, disappointing many long-time fans. Despite some ups and downs, Papa Joe's remains a local institution with a menu that caters to all tastes. Overall, the restaurant has left a lasting impression on the community, making it a valuable part of the city's history.
