The food was delicious, and the bar and lounge area was fantastic.

I wasn't knowing what to expect, as I've never been to this part of Italy, which is so close to Switzerland (please be a... read more I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. I wasn't knowing what to expect, as I've never been to this part of Italy, which is so close to Switzerland (please be aware that when you come from Switzerland on the motorway you are charged 28€ and are subject to inspection by Italian authorities I didn't take the St Bernard pass, but will when I return, and heard it's longer but free). Etroubles used to be French, therefore it has a French feel, but is thoroughly Italian. The food at this hotel was spectacular (some of the best bites of 2022). Etroubles is a strategic jumping point for this part of the world. This hotel is run by a wonderful couple and their experience in hospitality shows. ENJOY!

We enjoyed our short visit! We did not stay the night, but I'm sure that we would have enjoyed that too!
