L 'Huitriere - Étretat

The beautiful glass and round room dominates the seaside and offers a beautiful view of the bay of Etretat. the cuisine of local products (fish and seafood) is refined. impeccable service is vigilant and discreet.

The restaurant is rather well in itself with, in particular, a superb view of the sea. hic, these are the fares too high compared to the quality of what is served. add a server not always very concerned with its work. fortunately the other server was much better. short, a very average experience.

Disappointment ... we had come twice a few years ago and it was really great. today 120 kms to go there and of course as much to return and everything has changed ... if the service is pleasant and smiling - nothing to reproach on the contrary - the plates are much less well garnished and we wait a lot between two dishes that are now medium ... apart from the desserts .. delicious ... fortunately that the sea view is pleasant ... but we will not return again

Although we arrived late, we were very well received. the staff is really charming and at your disposal. we took the menu at 29€ and it is copied. Inside the mussels are generously served and very scented. to follow the fish (bar pepper sauce and semi-cooked Provencal sauce) was very good and especially very fresh. The duck magret being a little bit dry. the cheese plate is not only a copyful but offers you flavors. then for coffee, it is proposed a coffee menu. coffee that is served with divine mignardises.

The frame is perfect. service is really very pleasant. The kitchen is a little below. generally lacks seasoning (salt especially, but sauces are also a little too fades.) so let's focus on seafood. In the end, we come back to it, the value-for-price ratio remains very good.
