What R M doesn't like about The South Fork Baking Company:
I bought two scones that I thought the staff person said were maple flavored. The scones had good consistency and were covered with sesame seeds. As for flavor, all we could taste was sugar; far too much sugar, especially for a scone. At least the ride through Scott Valley was beautiful with fields of yellow mustard and Oregon sunshine offset with blue lupine. Snow was still on the very top of the surrounding peaks. Made a quick stop at The South Fork on my way to Etna. Had a pleasant time waiting for the sandwich and strawberry-banana smoothie. The walls were plastered with interesting artwork. My favorite piece was the framed children's drawing. View all feedback.
