The main restaurant and bar at The Royal George Hurst Green will return to its original function as a public house, a former Coaching Inn. The atmosphere of these rooms will be transformed into a cozy pub setting where friends and family can gather for drinks, chat, and even bring their furry companions along. The menu will offer a fusion of Western and Eastern flavors in a relaxed pub environment. The Private Dining Room will continue to showcase the unique Eurasian cuisine, now with a smaller focus on Peranakan dishes and Malaysian cuisine. Stay tuned for exciting updates as we strive to elevate Malaysian cuisine to new heights in the Penang Room at The Royal George. The George is a lovely pub with a really nice atmosphere. It’s really welcoming and the pastries that they make on site are absolutely amazing. The Sunday roasts are always delicious. They are dog and child friendly which is ideal! Thanks for another lovely visit!
The Royal George has a lovely atmosphere they do the best roast dinners! They have a lovely garden are very inclusive for children as they have games and colouring. Not to mention the amazing and helpful staff too. Love it here :
What’s Happened!!!We’ve been having chinese takeaway here for the last 20 years. Just recently, it’s become so spicy to be inedible, garlic broccoli hardly tasting of garlic. Chicken and sweetcorn soup and Singapore noodles were bland and the Spicey squid was so greasy and had so much salt, it was inedible. Green chicken curry was too hot and spicey to eat! Plus we’ve had wrong orders where either the dish was missing or incorrect. Up to about a year ago, the food was great!
Their salt and pepper squid is the best squid i have had in my life! please never stop serving this dish, i love it so much. everything else is always super yummy, highly priced but highly worth it for the quality of the food! love you guys Service: 5
