Settling of to Etaples a 10 minute ride away. Tried the 2 big fish restaurants but no room. Walk along the road and come across Le Roulis. What a find. Although busy we were offered a table in 5 mins by a very friendly lady. The meal was excellent. My brother and myself bother had the set €29:00 meal and after some humerous discussions on the meaning of some of the french words.(including actions!!) we settled down to an excellent meal. The huge portion of smoked salmon was divine and my brothers choice included huge prawns, whelks and oysters. We bother had the cod with vegetables and ride. All beautifully cooked. We finished with tarte tartin and chocolate mousse.We certainly will be returning not only for the food but for the warm welcome we recieved.
