This is a large diocese red with home cooking, high quality meat dishes and a very good wine card. Super for lunch or dinner, especially if you are in the mood for a steak and some house cooked frits. Friendly service, great ambience View all feedback.
This small bar restaurant has a very warm cozy atmosphere. I went there with my friends to have a drink after work and most of the time when we were eating together. It is led by a couple who both make their hearts serve things they love. The food is very delicious, in generous portions and garanteed organic, fair trade and evironmental friendly. Thierry, specializing in wine, cocktails and beers and he will always recommend things that go with your plate, but still is to your special taste. This restaurant sells wine from all over the country and it is Thierry itself, which goes every summer through the country to taste and choose the bottles he will sell the rest of the year. Flo, the cook and Thierry's wife, changes the menu every week to serve seasonal dishes. All food comes from local farmers and traders. Flo is from a French-Italian family and can cook any traditional dish from these two kitchen-friendly countries. My favorite dish, on her menu, is tartaric acid. The mixed planner is so well balanced and delicate that I'm never bored. Flo serves it with homemade frits that are so crusty, but the interior is still so buttery and soft. But the best thing about the fries is the sauce. It is a very smooth sauce with all patato-based secondary dish, it has mixed vegetables and spices. The recipe comes from her family and is completely secret, but it is without hesitation the best sauce I ever tasted, Every dish that she is served is so well selected from the wine to go with it, to the supplement and the sauce, everything is so balanced that you could never go out of L'Espérance without being full.

The cheese selection was so amazing.
First, let me say their cheeses are incredibly good, however, you have to deal with their incredibly rude and abrupt clerks to purchase.
