I didn't go in. I did a call in order. Food was great.. service couldn't be better.

This is a wonderful place. First the food it’s good. Very good. Both my wife and I enjoyed our BBQ. Second the owners a lovely couple who, clearly, love what they do and love their customers. Go enjoy

Had heard great things. I didn't go in but my honey did. Their food is much different from other SOUTHERN BBQ places. The food was.. unexpected, I guess. Maybe we didn't know what to order. ... Also VERY PRICY. Couldn't get this food very often anyway. As I've heard good things.. I might would try again. Parking: Not a large parking area.. unless it's in the back. I didn't see one.. except for front. Wheelchair accessibility: Normal

Wanted a quick meal while passing through Gainsville. Spotted the Hickory Pig when coming into town. The building looked interesting on the outside so we pulled in. I had a pulled pork sandwich with beans and greens. My wife had a pulled pork sandwich with stew and greens. We made a good choice. The food was delicious and the owners were very entertaining. We will be eating at the Hickory Pig again the next time we are in Gainsville.
