Nicely and Freshly decorated and an upgrade in furniture certainly adds a couple of plusses. Good news is, the prices are still prolly the most reasonable, amongst Estepona’s tapas places. Further good news is the food quality is still exceptional. I see some restaurants around Estepona, rated more highly but having eaten at all of them over 40+ years, Bar Simon paralyses the rest.

Even thou the hour was late and the place was occupied to the gills, we were served beer almost immediately. The staff was literally running, serving what must’ve been around 50+ people. After a while, a table was added to the outside dining area and we were seated. We have ordered a number of dishes, including my favorites fried boquerones, and everything was so delish. Hats off to the very capable staff of this establishment, they surely know how to run the place ! And the food is great, not to mention the beer! 5 stars! Can’t wait to come back!
