We are good here and the meals were quite big. Also the waiters were friendly and helpful. We ate with our family so I can recommend.
What a fabulous find. The tapas are interesting and unusual, but still rooted in traditional Spanish cooking and ingredients. We sat outside on a Sunday lunch time overlooking the busy and attractive Plaza Carmen. Service was charming. The first drinks arrived with an unsolicited bowl of water for the dog lots of bonus points for that! 6 of us had an excellent lunch, 2 or 3 drinks each and coffee and/or pudding for 90 euros inc tip. I would drive the 70 minutes back to Estepa just to eat here again!
This restaurant is quietly tucked away in Estepa; great location. On our visit we were fortunate to find a flamenco festival going on opposite. Their was plenty of variety with the Tapas all came well presented was very tasty. The only snag; the waiter was fairly abrupt to my wife when we paid our bill with card he was creating an issue that we had chosen to pay in 's rather than e 's not that we actually understood what the issue was ? Apart from that gentleman; I would highly recommend visiting if your in the local area !
My friend read about Bohemio on the internet and so we decided to give it a try as we were in Estepa. It was pouring with rain and looking through the window, the place looked empty and a little 'bright ' for evening eating, but bright lighting is not unusual in Spanish restaurants. However, we went in and we were very surprised at how nice and welcoming the place turned out to be. We were there at approx 8.30pm on a Saturday night and it was relatively empty but soon started to buzz with other diners. Downstairs is quite small with only about 6 tables but there is further dining upstairs which we weren 't aware of until entering. The staff were very attentive and the food was delicious and very well presented. We chose about 6 tapas dishes plus a couple of drinks each. All of the tapas dishes we chose were very tasty, and enough to share between two. We also had a tiramisu dessert each and it was very nice, not particularly strongly coffee flavoured but nice all the same, and it was presented in a very attractive way. The tapas here is not particularly cheap but I think we got what we paid for. The bill came to about 40 euros but we felt it was worth it. Also, I believe the menu changes with the seasons. We were told by someone who seemed to be the owner or manager, that they regularly have 'themed menu nights ' when they offer cuisine from different countries around the world. We would definitely eat there again.
