A rare experience. I asked for a structured but mature wine, and four suggestions came back. A moving 2001 Slovenian Merlot. The appetizer was goose liver and smoked goose salami, cappellacci with melted cheese, and cod Vicenza-style. Perfect. Update: 1/12/2023, second tasting, with beef heart and Crozes-Hermitage Syrah. Always excellent.

My first experience at this little restaurant, and I have to say it was truly a positive one. The restaurant is located on a small street, so there's not much parking nearby, but I don't consider that a problem: it's a couple of minutes' walk at most. The atmosphere is intimate, with about 30 seats inside and an outdoor veranda with additional tables for warmer weather; I think it seats about fifty in total. This small size isn't a flaw at all; on the contrary, it makes the atmosphere more peaceful, intimate, and pleasant. The owner, Silvia, is cheerful, helpful, and always ready to accommodate her guests' requests—qualities that truly make the difference. The menu is simple but carefully curated, with unique dishes and homemade desserts: everything is truly delicious. The prices are also absolutely in line with the quality offered, so nothing negative to report. We'll definitely be back, perhaps when the weather allows us to enjoy the outdoor area as well.
