Di-So in the summer season is Alt- Essing accessible by ship from Kelheim and 4-6 times a day by bus. Nearby there is the largest freestanding wooden bridge in Europe to see Tatzelwurm recommended and free of charge as well as the Schulerloch a cave. Food: 4.5 stars in front: The Gasthof Ehrl has its own butchery, therefore there are logically dominated meat dishes. There is a range of fish dishes and vegetarian dishes, but rather poor, vegan dishes could not name the side table. The acidic fertilizer as well as the homemade semmelknödel were excellent, the small side table as well. Also the dessert could convince me. Beverages: 4.5 stars There is a wide range of drinks, from aperitifs, wines, beers to digestifs, everything is available and you have a good choice in all areas. All I had ordered was very good. Service: 4.5 stars Friendly, flash, customer-oriented and at least partially attentive. In Bavarian economies no longer a matter of course, but there already and it goes well. Ambience outside: 4.5 stars In the large host garden you sit very well under high chestnuts. P/L: 5 stars The price/performance ratio is excellent; remarks: Despite the remote location, the host garden was well visited by locals as well as by excursionists as well as overnight guests. The Ehrl is a beautiful, cozy host house in the heart of Altessing(about 700 inhabitants), in a quiet location, near the Rhine-Main-Donau Canal. The food virtuous, dedicating, Bavarian regional, good. We had sour liars, beetles, hunters and Wiener Schnitzel, and Schneider Weiße, all delicious everything well! The room was clean and welcoming! Great, rich breakfast buffet with fresh eggs, semmals and much more. I have to take off the one star because at an adult price per night for almost 40€, children from 5 years old with 26€ to the same much I find!
