After living in a big city it is wonderful to have a small town bakery where it is not perfect, but it is secret, warm and welcoming. Customers, friends and strangers alike, chat together while waiting to get their donuts, cookies and cakes and breads. Our wedding was made with the most amazing cakes and desserts from Quality Bake Shop. The arrangement was nice, but more important delicious. Thank you. Doug and the support staff make our wedding special!!

A quality bake shop with great donuts and cookies, and a killer stick-to-your-rib breakfast and lunch menu at a fair price. Kick rocks if you have a problem with this place- it’s perfect.
These are the best donuts. I have tried many donuts and these are the best ones and are affordable. The cake donuts are super flavourful with the perfect crumb, and the yeasted donuts are all fluffy inside with a crispy outside. Dunkin, Tims, and Krispy Kreme have nothing on Quality Bake Shop. Go Early and bring Cash.
Went here with the fam I’ve been in Essex for a while and cannot believe I hadn’t been to this place. Two breakfast sandwiches on croissants, three donuts, and an M&M cookie for $11!! the breakfast sandwiches were A best in town. You can’t pay more money for a better one anywhere in Essex. Love this place. Will go back many times. Will recommend to friends. Btw it’s cash or check only there’s an ATM inside. Go now
Good people. Good food. Good prices. It may not look like much from the outside but it's one of my favorite spots to get breakfast!
