The food here is excellent, and the decor is wonderfully unique. Hotel Posh is set in beautiful surroundings. There's a tavern next door that I anticipate will offer great pub food, and I’m looking forward to trying it. In the warmer months, they have outdoor seating that seems like it would be very pleasant. Overall, it's a tasty and stylish spot that comes with a chic price tag, boasting intriguing decor. What Abby French doesn't like about Junction:
While our appetizers and salad were good, the entrees simply were not. Everything lacked seasoning. The chimichurri was so vinegary you couldn’t eat it and my partner had to wipe it off their food. The chicken meal my mom and sister got was barely seasoned and had 2 broccoli florets on it, that’s all. The plate was massive chunks of chicken and the sides that came with it were barely there. For an average of $45-$50/... View all feedback.
We had a fantastic experience. They do small seating's with an open kitchen. When we dined on a Tuesday night their was a single waitress which gave it a very intimate feeling. The food was amazing, the steak with bone marrow butter was outrageous. We will definitely be dining here again!
The selection of beers is incredible, and the cocktails are also fantastic. I had a wonderful meal and experienced great service. The braised short rib was particularly delicious. Highly recommended!
The Junction hosted our rehearsal dinner. The food and drinks were great. My guests had an incredible time. Can't say enough about the awesome staff.
Junction at The Essex never ceases to amaze me with what they bring to the table (pun intended . The presentation is only surpassed by the flavor, including various local cheeses and meats, in addition to countless other gourmet ingredients. As a value inclined diner, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that Junction is a bit on the pricier side, but totally worth it. From the day’s amuse bouche to their inspired dessert options, I can’t imagine ever being disappointed by anything here. (I’m updating this review with photos from our most recent meal in sept. 2020, since reopening. One of the best meals we’ve ever had.
**Takeout Dinner Review** **Price Range:** $50–$100 per person **Food Rating:** 3/5 **Service Rating:** 3/5 **Atmosphere Rating:** 3/5 **Recommended Dish:** Tomahawk Steak **Parking Situation:** Somewhat challenging to find parking **Parking Options:** Free parking lot Overall, the experience was average in terms of food, service, and ambiance. If you're looking for a hearty meal, the Tomahawk steak is worth trying. However, be prepared to navigate a bit when it comes to parking.
