It is a... read more We visited this establishment during the last day of Spiel 2017. We wanted to try it before, but during the previous day of the fair it was booked full. It is a cozy and traditional setting, with excellent service, smiling personnel, and typical german food, well prepared with attention to quality.As it was the first time here, I tried a typical favorite of mine, starting with Onion Soup with Cheese, then a Rumpsteak with mushrooms, a side of roasted potatoes and garden salad. Beer on tap, as you expect in a traditional gasthaus, was excellent. Price around € 25, you can spend less as the steak was the most costly item in the menu.

When you walk in this place, it is like the neighborhood bar with the locals in their spots. Past that is the main dining room and the food is great. My group has eaten here at least 3 times now and we have always enjoyed the food and the experience.
