: Drinks and Food, : Service level of some staff We spent a football night in Essen, with the World Cup taking place in the US and Mexico, 27 degrees Celsius, and the city square buzzing with the European track and field event “Tag der Ueberflieger.” What a fantastic setup. Naturally, we wanted to watch the game at the Mexican place, even though Germany was playing in Toronto. I called ahead, even stopped by on my way back to the flat, and spoke to the waitress. She assured me: “Yes, sure — 8 p.m., outside, with a view of the screen.” In the end, there was no table for us. We were sent to the basement and told we might get a table once the game started. The same waitress kept promising to move us, but nothing happened. She was polite and reassuring, but that did not help much. It felt as though she simply did not really care. That said, the food and drinks were excellent, and the other staff members were much more attentive. So it was really just this one person who let the experience down.

We ate at Tacos on Friday night. It was busy, but the food and service were top-notch. Delicious cocktails and food, and friendly and fast service. It seemed like the staff enjoyed their jobs! My request—extra cinnamon and sugar on my churros—was also granted. Perfect evening!
The food was delicious and the service was perfect all around. A large cocktail selection, so there's definitely something for everyone
The tacos are the tastiest around! Really flawless, super tasty, I can indulge myself. And the nachos with lots of dips. I have rarely eaten something so delicious... your sour cream, oh my god... delicious
Wow, You get delicious, authentic food at a fair price. Friendly, attentive staff always goes out of their way to please. Delicious cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, great I'd love to come back
Very good service, great cocktails, staff just great (especially the work clothes), the candles are beautifully decorated, Ashkan is simply a dream for every woman, would recommend everyone to visit this shop

Not the authentic Mexican food. Too sweet and like ketchup. The service was OK and the drinks were OK; salads and everything that is not Mexican but...
Guacamole was a total let-down (as usual in Germany imo) but other than that we enjoyed our meal much more than we expected. Give it it try.
The worst Mexican food I have ever eaten. Even for Germany it is awful. One star is still too many.

If you want to waste money on a Buritto made out of rice only, then i would suggest this restaurant
Staff was kind and considerate. Pretty good for a German interpretation of Tex Mex classics. I had the plate with an assortment of the options, and it was mildly flavored,more spice would have been welcome. The enchiladas and corn on the cob were overcooked but acceptable. My friends dining with me were satisfied. They also enjoyed fancy drinks.
Lovely Mexican restaurant located near Limbecker Platz. Great indoor and outdoor seating. Very pleased with vegetarian options in all varieties. The food was very fresh and tasty. The location and atmosphere was great. Would definitely eat here again!!
Very affordable prices for cocktails and snacks!!! Will definitely recommend and for sure visit again!
I had a bbq chicken big nacho dish which came within 10 minutes but it was not yet fully warm. And it did not taste like bbq sauce. My corn on the cop was good and big. The enchillada was good. A pity that the food was not to full satisfaction.

We have been there more often and it has always been very tasty.
Were there for the first time tonight and totally enthusiastic. Super food I didn't make because it was too much for me. The service was also very friendly. In any case, come back:
Cigo's has developed into our main restaurant, to which we go several times a month. Always very tasty, extremely friendly service, therefore unlimited 5 stars!
It's just all right!!! The food is perfect, the hosting is friendly, everything is well maintained and also for the children there is a small distraction outside. Always happy!!!
Nice service... Delicious food...Good portions (If I don't get my plate empty, that means what I want to praise is the toilet area that is very well isolated from the guest room and top clean... already a feel-good oasis when you first have one of the public places at Kemnader Lake... We will definitely return without a parking voucher;
