So we were seated at a centre table with good obse... read more We were there just a party of two on a Sunday. The first question was about a reservation that we didnt have. So we were seated at a centre table with good observation about everything. The improvable thing first: we were asked about drinks by...two differnet waiters, honestly, there were only four tables manned... After that, we were asked whether we ordered our lunch, No, but we liked to do so. Then, it was stated that this should be in the same order as guest come in and also to serve the meals nice idea! But, this was not the case with the meals... The beer was wonderfully draught very positive. My company had gnocchi with tomato, mozarella, greens and ruccola, all well done. I went with the named Pierburg jagerschnitzel with mushroom, creamy sauce and spatzle/noodles. It was veal and well satisfying dish, maybe a little bit more sauce would be even nicer. The restaurant is remote, no question, you have to go by car or have to walk a while. The service is not the best, some tuning is necessary. The meals were great and worth the money, the draught beer was also superb. If more than two, try to make a reservation in advance.

So, why no 5-star rating?... read more First of all, the food is great. The selection of accompanying wines is excellent, and the sommelier can explain his choices clearly. So, why no 5-star rating? Because dining here feels like it has to be very efficient. Quick changes of plates, everything works like a well-oiled machine. But for me, dining is about listening to a story. And to take time to enjoy. And that is what I have missed a little bit. Everything else was really good!
