It is located in an area that is worth visiting i.e. protected old collieries which have been turned into museums, very interesting. Would go here again.

I went to the Heiner's restaurant which resu... read more Was on business trip in the Dusseldorf area. Arrived late at the Heiner's hotel and was looking for a place to eat. I went to the Heiner's restaurant which resulted to be an excellent choice. The place is nicely decorated, the staff speak good English and the food was very good. I had soup and then fish for the main course both were very tasty and well prepared at a very reasonable price.Returned to the restaurant the following evening and it was good again, good service an tasty food, this time I had the rump steak, it was very good.

Food and drink must be ordered separately here and you shouldn't make the mistake first of all when eating, because it costs only time. Its complete order must be placed and paid when selling drinks. And after you have done this and then keep your drink in your hand, you can put yourself in place again (because we overlooked the little inconspicuous note, as well as many others). My husband got a curry sausage with pommes, halfway reasonable for 7.50€. I had ordered a portion of ChilliCheesePommes. The portion was almost a nausea for 4.90€. Too bad the Pommes were only half. But we had no desire for discussions, and the shops must also be happy to get staff. The location is otherwise great and recommended for beautiful summer days/departure!
