La Cle De Voute - Essaouira

Cle is a restaurant with a charming owner. The menu is available in both French and English, and the owner takes the time to explain each dish to every guest. We were looking for something different than the typical tajine and couscous dishes and found a menu that had a slightly more French influence than Moroccan. The cauliflower appetizer was delicious, the prawn dish was good but a bit lacking in prawns (the lentils were exceptional), and the crab ravioli had too many ingredients. The fried banana dessert was tasty, and the wine list was reasonably priced. We chose the Medallion red, which was enjoyable. The service was excellent, so be sure to make a reservation.

This delightful restaurant offers refined, flavorful, and creative cuisine, with attentive staff. While the prices are slightly higher than average, they are justified by the exceptional quality of the dishes and service. This restaurant is a must-visit gem!

I highly recommend this restaurant located in a narrow alley. The staff greeted us warmly and presented each dish before we made our selection. The appetizer was wonderfully prepared, the main dish of monkfish with a delicious sauce was outstanding, and the dessert of banana flambe with homemade ice cream was sublime. Everything was expertly crafted with care.

Ein kleines Restaurant mitten in der Medina. gemütlich und sehr angenehm. die angebotenen Lebensmittel sind äußerst lecker und definitiw lohnt Besuch. die Karte ist klein, was zusätzlich die Qualität betont. der Service ist ausgezeichnet. Ich kann auf jeden Fall einen Besuch empfehlen.
