We were looking for a place for lunch today on our way home, my Wife had seen Grandma's when she was at Giant Tiger, so we thought we'd give it a try. Went in and were greeted by a very nice woman serving tables, we were seated with our 2 young children and our order taken promptly. We both had clubhouse sandwiches, and the kids had a grilled cheese. They enjoyed theirs, and we really enjoyed ours. Clubhouse was made... View all feedback.
What Zackary Leannon doesn't like about Grandma's Diner:
Met here with some friends for breakfast. Very busy place. The food was great. The service was good, because they were busy there was a bit of a wait but a good excuse to catch up with friends. We were not rushed which is very nice. View all feedback.
I don't understand why Sandy's never has a wait because they have fresh ingredients and delicious dishes.
After reading the reviews, I decided to check out this restaurant. When I walked in, it took about 15 minutes before someone even said hello to me.
Wow! I discovered a hidden gem in the vast GTA - a great little diner that stands out from the rest. It is located in a
My fiancé has lived in Angus for many years and he has never been here.(Not sure how long it's been open) The outside isn't "fancy" and I will let you know that the inside isn't either. That being said, I want to say that because I'm from a small town, I appreciated the authenticity of a tried and true diner that has a beautiful heart. The service is amazing. You will NEVER have to ask for a cup of coffee, or feel unnoticed. The food itself is fresh and nicely presented (complete with watermelon slice!) The homefries are the real deal and I walked away completely stuffed and cared for. That said, the decor isn't up to date or flashy, but the heart shines through from the food to the old fashioned hand written guest cheques. (I haven't seen those for years!)It brought a smile to my face to eat here, not necessarily for ambiance, but for how much what they feed you means to them.Don't judge a book by its cover and enjoy the experience for what it is Well done to the service and the food.
My wife and I ate at Grandma's Diner on May 20th This year, and found the atmosphere to be pleasant and cordial. The waitress was very friendly and helpful in helping us select a Delicious breakfast, with unstoppable coffee refills. We would HIGHLY recommend this Quaint lil place for an unforgettable eating Experience .
