I go there with my family once a year if I’m in Portugal and the manager (maybe the owner, I’m not sure) always recognizes us and welcomes us with thanks for coming in. It’s a family style restaurant that doesn’t look like anything special, BUT you get a great Portuguese meal at the beach for an affordable price.

This was... read more We were looking for somewhere where we could watch England v N Macedonia sad I know). A local man helped us and suggested Baliza. What a fabulous find. This was very much a local restaurant and they knew we wanted to watch the footie and had set our table up in front of the tv and had the channel ready. The food was superb. Best chicken all holiday. Service was great and they listened to our poor Portuguese before replying in great English. If you want a genuine Portuguese experience with great food this is a must!
