We looked for a place to try lebaniego stew, and seeing that it had good reviews there, we went. As we arrived they sat us down, then things started to go wrong, to begin with they didn't tell us anything that there was a menu of the day, directly the menus, and we thought that that day for whatever reason there wasn't one, when we ordered the stew (he didn't either). He decided to advise us on the menu of the day), we ordered it. After 15 minutes another couple came, and they gave them the menu and a card for the menu of the day, ah shit, so apparently there was one! Oh! And we said, well, anyone makes a mistake. ... They brought us noodle soup, a small bowl with half a handful of noodles. When we finished it, they brought us the stew, half a handful of chickpeas, 1/4 d of ribs, a chorizo, a piece of fat and that's it. Nothing spectacular. We said we would try the Canónigos dessert, to find out what it was and see how it went, at first he said he didn't know if they had it, I had to ask, okay. When they brought it, it was a kind of wet crumb, with caramel syrup, chopped almonds on top, well, it was made with egg, sugar and cornstarch. But it wasn't cold, it was weird. We ate this at 2pm. At 4pm I was feeling unwell, my partner was fine. At 5 p.m. I started vomiting and feeling unwell. My partner started to feel bad around this time, vomiting at the same time. When it was 8:00 p.m. and we saw that we were not stopping, we went to the doctor, after 2 hours there, they pricked us and said that we have the most likely food allergy, with all the symptoms. And if we had eaten something with eggs, or sauces that contained eggs (mayonnaise for example), we said that we had eaten this famous dessert in Cantabria, and they told us that we would have noticed the stew immediately if it had been in bad condition, but that Everything pointed to the egg, because we both ate the same thing, without having anything else in our bodies. So we will not return, they have already given us yesterday and today.
