Chili's Grill - Española

The food was good overall. The soups may not look very appealing, but they taste excellent. Everything was fresh and enjoyable.

The food is excellent, but the service at the To Go counter could use some improvement. Tonight, my order was practically shoved at me. I've stopped pre-tipping on the app because my recent visits seem to inconvenience one particular employee, who always looks like they're having a bad day.

The hostess was quite rude. I have hearing difficulties, and when I asked her to repeat herself, she rolled her eyes at me. She informed me that there would be a wait of 30 to 45 minutes, even though I was just there for a quick meal. I inquired if I could at least sit at the bar, to which she replied, “I guess, but you’ll still have to wait 30 to 45 minutes for food.” I’ll provide more updates once I receive my meal. However, the bartender was excellent!

I've always liked the food at Chili's. Unfortunately as is the sign of the times I believe staffing is still a serious issue for this restaurant. Be prepared to wait extensively. I recommend going at non peak hours avoiding the lunch or dinner rush

The food was the only good thing about this visit! The hospitality was just sad, and that made the visit not worth a return. Thank you to the kitchen staff ?????
