Excellent service, very pleasant, refined and delicious cuisine. A beautiful restaurant complex with lovely decor.
Discovered during a romantic evening. The cuisine is of high quality. The ingredients we consumed were fresh and prepared on-site. The culinary approach is interesting. The scallops with saffron sauce were perfect. The salmon with watercress was very good. The beef fillet had an unmistakable Aubrac flavor, and the broad beans were a perfect match, but the smoked bacon, hidden beneath the surface, detracted from the aromas of the truffle jus… a shame
Excellent restaurant! Maison Burgarella offers delicious and refined cuisine, with truly gourmet dishes prepared using high-quality ingredients. Each plate is beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. All this in a warm and authentic setting, with impeccable service and a welcoming team. A must-try, I will gladly return!
Best culinary experience of the year! (And probably of previous years). I pulled out all the stops to write this review, and for good reason: my partner and I completely agree about our experience at this restaurant. Espalion being a stop on the GR65 hiking trail, we stopped around 11:00 AM, drawn by the lovely terrace under the trees, to have a coffee. The young woman who served us was absolutely delightful. The dishes on the menu had so intrigued us that we decided to come back for lunch, and it was the best decision of the day. The dishes are beautiful, the flavors are incredible, and the desserts are absolutely divine. The chef offers gourmet cuisine accessible to all palates at prices comparable to a small local restaurant. We enjoyed it so much that we came back in the evening for a pizza to share, and it was one of the best pizzas I've ever tasted—and believe me, I've eaten a lot! The thin, supple crust was generously topped, with textures and flavors that blended perfectly. I'll definitely be back in Espalion just to return to Burgarella, even if it means crossing France to get there. A huge thank you to the chef for bringing so much joy to our taste buds and our eyes.
