Ukami did not disappoint. The shrimp taco was the best we ever had and the service was great. The restaurant is very casual and you’re not sure what to think at first when you walk in. The chef is so creative. We definitely would like to be back and try so much more sushi items on the menu.

The owner was pleasant and graciously offered us a small appetizer as a welcome to the restaurant. The sushi was outstanding, flavorful and you could tell the fish was fresh and high quality. Service was very professional, and extremely accommodating. They had smoke blowing nearby to deter mosquitos from disturbing us as well. There was some noisy neighbors nearby blasting music just on the other side of the restaurant, but it didn’t ruin the evening. Once the area develops more, this will definitely be a popular spot in the near future!

Atmosphere and the vibe was out of this world if I’m honest but their intention is purely based on money.. firstly after telling the waiter to not take my food as I’m not done he still took it. I was literally half way done with my drink and got asked if I wanted another drink. I mean the quickness of the service was best to any but a bit too rushy. Another few things I want to mention here which annoyed me. Got asked if I wanted drugs which is fine by me personally but the fact it was constant and especially by the people that worked there shocked me… believe me most of the people that work there are all in on this job which makes it a bit scary. Thought to myself I’ll walk up to the beach while I waited for my food.. baring in mind it’s a 3/4 course meal for security to turn around and say are you a part of taboo which I said yes, up there. That’s the good part.. worse part is the same guy asked me again which annoyed me. Not to mention they’re marketing tactics which I also clocked on Overall good experience.
