What User doesn't like about Restaurant Piedra Escondida:
My wife and I chose this place, for the reasons that it's well located, very nice view on the sea, agreeable and refreshing wind from the sea. The food was good and tasty. The problems started when we ask for the bill. First time he bought the bill with more drinks than we consumed. After that he gave us the correct one. When we paid him he took 20% more after the taxes. He could not explain the difference between th... View all feedback.
Decided to try a different breakfast than the one from our hotel and wandered into Piedra Escondida, after browsing the menu outside. On entering, the staff greeted us and showed us to a table with a beautiful view of the beach and the sea. There was also a light breeze which was very welcome at the time. The choices on offer were varied and all sounded very tempting but we opted for different egg dishes, seeing as it was "breakfast". They were very delicious and decided that we would return to try out the other breakfast options. The whole service was extremely pleasant and the views and the breeze completed the experience. We did return on a few occasions and tried out different dishes and the service was impeccable during all our visits. We thought on one occasion that the amount of blue cheese on a salad may have been a little light and they kindly topped it up without any fuss. We would definitely recommend this place for any meal at any time and would return in an instant.

The setting is extraordinary with a great beach/ coast view and is matched by the friendly and quality service along with incredible, regionally inspired food. They have a great happy hour, too, with excellent drinks and food options. Thumbs up on the house margaritas, guacamole, and ceviche! The prices are beyond reasonable. Actually, I'm always surprised how the dinning experience so greatly exceeds the price.Fabulous, fabulous fabulous! One of my favorite restaurants in the world. Literally. Run here and enjoy!

The problems started when we ask for the bill. First time he bought the bill with more drinks than we consumed. After that he gave us the correct one. When we paid him he took 20% more after the taxes. He could not explain the difference between the charges and the second bill, but he gave us back the money. This kind of behavior should not be in any restaurant who respects itself.
We were two families visiting the beautiful hotel, and luckily the restaurant delivered in the same league. Lovely dishes for all meals of the day - all with raw natural ingredients, prepared and presented with love. And there was something for all members of the family. And let's not forget the ocean view and the sound of the waves... Highly recommended!
