Stopped in for lunch after a 4WD up the Eskdale spur from Lockhart's gap, a beautiful country pub feel to it, friendly publican and staff, plenty of tables available inside and outside too. Food was quick arriving and very large servings, prices were very reasonable too. I had the Esky parmy which was done in a spicey chilli sauce, the missus's steak was tender and juicy and cooked to perfection. My sons had the schnitty burger and chips and the traditional parmi. Everyone was happy with their food. Food drinks: Plenty of choice in the fridge, a few beers on tap too,a small menu of your traditional pub classics. Good honest country pub ,cold beer good atmosphere and a good meal. Just how a country pub should be,worth the stop.
