The set menu starters were delicious, but the chicken shawarma was surprisingly dry—how is that even possible? The baklava also didn't taste fresh. On the positive side, the service was excellent. The warm welcome I received made for a pleasant start, and the space is impeccably clean. The luxurious seating and beautifully presented dishes enhance the overall experience. I now understand how Zeitoun earns such exceptionally high ratings. The calamari starter was perhaps the best I've ever had, and the £20 cold Mezza platter was ideal for our group of three. The main courses were incredible, with plenty of vegetarian options available as well. We enjoyed the mixed grill, lamb shank, and halloumi with roasted vegetables—all of which were remarkable, boasting subtle flavors and generous portions of high-quality meat. We also savored some delightful Lebanese wines that paired perfectly with our meal. The staff was attentive, helpful, and friendly, making our experience even better. We will definitely be coming back!
