Sunny Side Kitchen - Escondido

I've only had 1 thing on the menu, the pesto chicken sandwich, but man it's absolutely fantastic. It's so delicious and I can't bring myself to try anything else it's so yummy. Service is always amazing. Everyone who works here is so nice and cheerful. Definitely one of my favorite spots here in Escondido.

I got my first haircut since the pandemic nearby and decided to walk around and maybe grab a bite somewhere. Saw this place and I remember hearing about it on the news so I walked in with a traditional breakfast (omelette, biscuits 'n gravy etc) in mind. This is a Panini Place oh I 'm not really a panini person... (barely knew what a panini was) try our breakfast panini the people here were so nice and friendly I decided to do a half-order breakfast panini to go. Damned if I wish I had ordered a whole sandwich it was so tasty. I guess I 'm a panini person now. The best part of the sandwich was the parmesan that got melted into a crunchy crust that coated the bread, never had anything like it. My new spot folks!

Went in on Monday around 10 am. The place is small but there is indoor and outdoor seating. The staff was very friendly and inviting. Got the 808 panini and a dozen chocolate chip cookies. The Sandwich was very good. The bread was soft yet perfectly toasted. The cheeses/spam and avocado had the perfect balance of salt and fat. The cookies are so soft, and I could easily have eaten all 12! Definitely a great hidden gem in Escondido

Fantastic sandwiches in a convenient location staffed by some friendly folks. One of my favorite sandwich shops and I’ve been to a lot from Newport Beach to New York City. Highly recommended.

Super friendly staff! Fresh food and drinks. The BLT was very tasty! Space is a bit tight. There is also outdoor seating. Thanks for a yummy lunch!
